Wow. That is a long time.

So I'd like to update you on how my life is going, if that's ok with you.
This is my journal after all!

My life is good. I feel rather excited about what the future will bring. My brother and his fiance are having their engagement party in December and it's really made me realise how little I see my family these days. I think this is the longest I've gone in my entire life without seeing my mum. I'll bet she's enjoying the sun somewhere and my dad is ready to retire and become the old fart he's always dreamed of being.

My career is coming along nicely - we're picking up some great clients thanks to our new salesman who is ENGLISH and has an ENGLISH accent ahaha. He's selling a lot of websites and is working really hard.

We still don't have a printing person, so my boss and I are doing it at the moment. It's a tedious task, but we're up for the job and we're both bloody good at it!

We're looking to move to Caringbah or Cronulla soon, though I want to stay in Wollongong. The mountains on the way to work seem to help me get ready for the day. They make me happy.

So as some of you may know, I was doing 2 degrees at uni this year, a degree in business studies (marketing) and a degree in fine arts (graphic design). I found that the work load was so large that I couldn't actually work and do uni at the same time, so I got a job in Sydney as a designer and defered uni for next year. I have rego to pay, rent to pay and debt to pay off...So I really needed to start working full time...I mean the whole point of uni was so I could get a job anyways, right?

I'm living in Wollongong now, which is a huge change from Kiama - for starters, I can walk to the main street from my house, which is cool. We're living in a 2 bedroom flat with a huge backyard that is maintained by the landlord. There's fruit trees and nut trees and a sunked seat in the shade.

The drive to Sydney every day is a bit annoying, but it could be worse - I could be living in Kiama and have to drive from there everyday. Andrew got a new car, so I've been taking that to work everyday until I can find one that's cheap enough and safe enough for me to buy. I want to get a small car that is great on petrol - at the moment it's $100 to drive to Sydney each week.

It looks like I've finished off my freelancing stuff for now, which is good.

On the bad side, I'm pretty sure I'm getting conjunctivitis in both my eyes, which is stingy and annoying, esp when I'm sitting infront of a computer all day. It looks like I'm crying sometimes lol...Not good.

When I wrote my last journal saying that I hope everyone in Japan is staying safe, there was automatically a 'joy' smilie under it!!

In between the confuzzlement of trying to find a new job and applying for the last stages of my double degree next year, I've found it hard to find the motivation to give a crap about Christmas. Last night we went to Kmart (which is open 24/7 now...BEST idea for Christmas shopping ever) and I bought a lot of Christmas tree decorations. I didn't buy any tinsel...It's weird. Unless it's not shiney (and by not shiney, I mean the white one that looks like snow), tinsel really pisses me off for some reason. Hopefully I'll have everything out of the way now so I can waste some time on fixing up the tree tonight.

I have no printer ink at the moment. One of the ink cartidges ran out, so the whole entire thing won't work (including the scanner). I never noticed how much I use my printer until now. It's driving me bonkers.
